There was a moment early in my career where something didn’t quite add up.
I had just finished years of training to become a Physician Assistant.
I had learned how to diagnose. How to treat. How to manage disease.
But then my dad was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and liver cancer, and we were told treatment options were very limited.
Something felt incomplete. And I couldn’t ignore it.
What I Was Taught vs What I Was Seeing

In school, we were taught that lifestyle plays an important role in health. In fact, for many chronic conditions, it’s considered a first-line approach.
But in practice, that’s not always what happens.
What I started seeing – over and over again – was this:
Patients were being given medications to manage symptoms…but not always being shown how to address the root cause.
And I kept thinking:
If lifestyle is so important…why aren’t we talking about it more clearly?
The Gap I Couldn’t Unsee
The more I learned, the more I realized:
Patients are encouraged to eat better. Move more. Reduce stress.
But what does that actually look like in real life?
There is a major lack of clarity around how to implement those lifestyle changes and practice them consistently.
And that is the gap – the missing piece between root-cause vs symptom treatment.
This is also the space where so many people get stuck. And it’s something I couldn’t unsee once I recognized it.
Where Faith Became Part of the Conversation
Around this same time, I found myself asking another question:
If God designed our bodies…wouldn’t His Word have something to say about how we care for them?
So I started looking. And what I found was incredible.
The same principles I was seeing in a lifestyle medicine approach – things like rest, nourishment, stress management, and community – were already reflected in Scripture.
Science was showing how the body works.
Scripture was showing how we were designed to live.
And I knew, then and there, that it would change the way my family supported my dad in his new diagnoses – and ultimately, the direction of my entire career.
A More Complete Way to Think About Health
Health isn’t just about physical symptoms. And it isn’t just about one area of life.
It’s about a whole-person health approach. Body, mind, and spirit.
When one area is off, it often impacts the others. And when you begin to support all three together, things start to change in a more sustainable way – not instantly, but deeply.
Why This Matters for You
If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything you’ve been told, but still not seeing the results you’re hoping for…
Take heart. You’re not broken, or doing anything wrong. You may have just never been shown the full picture.
What I Do Differently Now
This is exactly why I approach health the way I do today.
Instead of focusing only on symptoms, I focus on the habits that support the body as a whole.
Instead of letting faith and health be disconnected, I bring them together.
Because when you understand both the science and the design behind your body, things begin to make more sense.
And more importantly, they become easier to apply in your everyday life.
A Simpler Path Forward
After my dad outlived his prognosis (and he’s still outliving it!), God put it on my heart to create a clear path – so you don’t have to figure this out on your own, and can care for your body in a way that honors His design.
And that is exactly what I walk you through inside my program.
